FAQ
Cera is purpose-built for creative work — not general search or Q&A. It connects you with distinct advisor personas shaped by the perspectives of influential voices from art, philosophy, and culture. Each chat lives within a structured session that saves your progress and builds a summary of insights as you go. Unlike ChatGPT, Cera focuses on depth, continuity, and creative acceleration — not just getting to an answer.
Come with a real question, even if it's messy. Be honest. Let the advisors surprise you. Some users start by exploring a new idea, while others bring in a half-finished project or a tough creative block. Don't worry about asking the perfect question — just describe what you're working on and where you feel stuck or curious.
Cera also offers suggested responses throughout the conversation to help you keep momentum. Use them as-is, or as a jumping-off point to guide the dialogue in new directions.
Cera is currently in open beta, which means you can try it right away. To save your sessions, switch between advisors, and access new features, you'll need to create a free account. All sessions persist — there are no ephemeral chats.
Yes. You can add as many chats as you like within a session, each with a different advisor. This gives you the ability to explore contrasting perspectives and deepen your creative process.
Cera's advisors are grouped into three councils:
- Philosopher's Insight for clarity and conceptual depth
- Poetic Voice for beauty, language, and feeling
- Market Perspective for positioning, relevance, and strategic framing
Each advisor has a distinct tone, drawn from historical and cultural influences.
Images you upload are stored securely and only used within the context of your sessions. They're never shared, used for training, or made public without your explicit permission. Supported formats include JPG and PNG, and there's a size limit of 5MB per image. If you ever want to delete an image or entire session, you can do so from your account settings.
Not yet. At the moment, Cera supports static image uploads (JPG and PNG). We're exploring ways to support other formats like GIFs and video in the future, especially for motion-based artists. If your work relies on time-based media, let us know — your input helps shape what we build next.
Not yet — but it's on the roadmap. For now, you can copy and paste session summaries or any part of your chat. Many users keep a running document of insights, and we plan to add export options soon. If this feature is important to your workflow, let us know — feedback helps shape our priorities.
Yes. Your uploads and sessions are stored securely and are never used to train AI models. You can delete your data anytime. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for full transparency.
Cera is especially powerful for visual artists and creative thinkers developing projects, portfolios, or new ideas. Whether you're refining a body of work, exploring themes, or navigating a creative block, it's built to help you gain clarity and momentum. Writers, researchers, and product-focused users are also starting to find value here — and we're listening closely to support those workflows as we grow.
